Our cleaning staff comes well trained in COVID-19 cleaning protocols. Following our enhanced COVID-19 cleaning routine, all staff wash their hands immediately upon arrival and wear gloves and masks the entire time on site. The cleaning staff at the Three Wishes Farm disinfects frequently touched surfaces and objects using a product from EPA’s list of approved products that are effective against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 disease.
High-touch surfaces
After each stay, our professional cleaning staff utilize a two-step approach for cleaning high-touch surfaces: we use a detergent or soap and hot water for visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection to kill germs on surfaces after they have dried.
Examples of high-touch surfaces include tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, counters, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
Low-touch surfaces
Floors, walls, blinds, and other low-touch surfaces are cleaned using hot water and detergent. Mopped and/or wiped down from one end of the surface to the other.
Towels, linens, and other laundry are handled by staff wearing disposable gloves when handling dirty laundry and discarded after each use. All laundry is washed on the warmest setting with the sanitize feature then staff make beds and fold the laundry with a fresh set of disposable gloves to ensure no cross contamination.
